Organized by the University of Florence, the first multiplier event of the Facing Fire project (https://facingfire.eu/) will take place on July 7-8, 2022.
Conceived as a space for the exchange of ideas, this FREE EVENT is open to anyone interested in the application of innovative educational strategies, such as Service-Learning, to improve the educational offer and, at the same time, to contribute to solve complex environmental challenges.
The target public are teachers and students from universities, vocational centres, secondary schools, as well as practitioners in administrations, NGOs, communities,…All people related directly or indirectly with care of the land, such education, environment (biology, forestry, agronomy, environmental engineering), economics, communication are kindly invited to participate.
This event is an open and interactive forum to discuss the importance of the involvement of the students in solving important challenges in our society as a way to improve their training. Multidisciplinarity in the educational process will be also discussed.
The attendance is FOR FREE, but we need you to register. There two options to participate: face-to-face or on line.
